Started on the Streets of Houston
Soul Goode began as a food truck on Westheimer in Houston. We kept things simple: cook good food, serve it hot, and treat people right. Word spread fast about our crispy catfish, fried pork chops, and cabbage made just the way folks like it. That little truck gave us big lessons—stay humble, stay consistent, and feed the community well.
Bringing Soul to Pearland
When we opened the restaurant in Pearland, we brought everything we learned from the truck. Our food stayed the same—big portions, bold seasoning, and no shortcuts. People said it felt like a neighbor’s kitchen. That’s what we wanted. A clean, cozy spot where families, couples, and friends could feel right at home over a plate of real soul food.
Why It’s Called Soul Goode
